Suspect wanted for Queens homicide arrested in Pennsylvania
A man who shot a 31 year old man to death during a robbery in Richmond Hill is in custody after being tracked to Pennsylvania.

Pocono Mountain Regional Police arrested Dreshaun Smith, 22, in Monroe County on Thursday, January 12 as per reports.

Police reported Smith was captured after investigation in Pennsylvania from where he allegedly shot Ricky Kalisaran while trying to rob him and his brother in South Richmond Hill on January 2 outside a night club.

Kalisaran's brother is recovering in the hospital. Ricky’s brother Sunny was wearing a heavy gold chain which could have tempted the shooter but not confirmed.

Police are still searching for the second suspect and accomplice of Smith.

The brothers were shot at 124th St. near Liberty Ave. about 3:30am. Several hours earlier, they had attended their grandmother’s funeral.

The NYPD confirmed the arrest and said detectives were in the process of extraditing Smith back to New York, where he will be charged with murder, officials said.
