Hello! My name is Amanda Bloom and I’m an Associate Professor with 15 years of experience teaching writing at the University of Southern California.
My main areas of expertise, outside of teaching, include the college admissions essay. I’m skilled in coaching students through their writing process and helping them shape memorable narratives that stand out from the rest. Last year, my clients were accepted to every top University of California school (including UC Berkeley and UCLA) as well as USC, Northwestern, Northeastern, Penn State, Reed College, Case Western, and so on.
My hourly rate is $100/HR.
This year, my semi-private workshops occur throughout the months of September and October. Times and dates vary, with weekend options available.
All coaching is held in the virtual space, via Google Meets or Zoom.
