Woman robbed outside the parking lot of Walgreens in East Meadow
Police are investigating the assault and robbery that happened at the East Meadow on Friday, January 20.
The victim, a 60 year old lady was attacked in her face while she was entering her car by the 30 year old suspect and stole the victim’s purse that contained her personal properties, cash and other valuables.
It happened around 8pm inside the parking lot of Walgreens at 2474 Hempstead Turnpike.
No injuries were reported.
Police described the suspect as male, white. Also, police described the suspect's getaway car as dark colored which went eastbound Hempstead Turnpike.
